Chiropractic Process
What you can expect if you make an appointment at this clinic.
Using proven and progressive chiropractic and medical methods, we will evaluate your joint, skeletal, muscular and nervous systems for potential causes of your pain and symptoms. Recommendation will then be given as to the best approach to your problem which may include a chiropractic treatment program specific for you presenting condition.
Your first visit to the clinic involves:-
- Filling out a questionnaire as to your complaint and general health history.
- The chiropractor will take a history of your presenting complaint and will do an examination relating primarily to that complaint.
- Other tests such as x-rays and blood tests may be suggested to more accurately determine the cause of complaint. These may or may not be necessary to continue with chiropractic treatment at this time.
- Providing your evaluation is clear and with out complications, the chiropractor will discuss his or her approach to your complaint and suggest the best treatment program for you. Depending entirely on the extent of your trouble, treatment may be anything from a few simple treatments to a more long term treatment program.
- If your problem is straight forward and does not require further tests before proceeding, you will probably begin treatment at the time of initial consultation.
Subsequent visits to the clinic will be tailored to you specific requirements.
For acute pain and injury, you could expect to have treatments close together, sometimes with only a day between. More chronic longstanding problems take time to resolve and may require treatment over a longer period of time.
